Independent Platform for Art Collaborations
Arysium brings together nearly two decades of experience in contemporary art, exhibitions & international art fairs, art essays & monographs and gallery management. Operating independently and on a limited basis, Arysium-founder Jeroen Krak engages in selected projects each year, typically arising through invitations or existing professional relationships.
About
In 2009, after an international executive career in B2B-companies with a degree in industrial engineering & management, Jeroen Krak founded Gallery40NL (formerly known as Galerie NUMMER40), which over the next eighteen years developed into an internationally active gallery presenting European, American and Australian artists, all working within abstract geometric and abstract organic traditions. Through exhibitions, publications such as essays and monographs, and participation in predominantly European art fairs, the gallery fostered sustained relationships with artists, collectors, and fellow galleries across Europe and beyond.
Following the conclusion of Gallery40NL in 2026, Jeroen Krak continues his involvement in the art world through Arysium—an independent platform for occasional collaborations on publications, exhibition & art fair initiatives, and advisory contributions related to art (gallery) practices.
